전력난 겪는 ‘말레이시아’, 한국에 기회의 땅 될까

전력 부족 현상이 전개되고 있는 말레이시아가 한국의 에너지 기업들에는 기회의 땅이 돼줄 것으로 보인다. 

KDB 미래전략연구소가 최근 발표한 보고서인 ‘말레이시아 전력시장 동향과 시사점’은 말레이시아가 경제 발전과 산업 발전에 따라 전력 수요가 증가했음에도 불구하고 송전 시설의 노후화로 인해 전력이 부족한 상황임을 짚었다. 

BMI(Business Monitor International)의 통계에 따르면, 말레이시아의 전력 소비는 최근 지속적인 경제성장을 기반으로 2016년부터 2018년까지 연평균 4.2%의 증가율을 보였다. 2016년 139.6TWh에서 2018년 151.51TWh로 증가한 전력 소비량은 2023년 182.8TWh까지 증가할 전망이다. 

이에 말레이시아 정부도 발전설비를 건설하고 재생에너지 공급을 확대하며 초국경간 전력망 연계 전략을 펼치는 등 다각적인 발전에너지 정책을 실시하고 있다. 

이러한 말레이시아의 전력 확대 정책은 발전 설비용량을 2018년 39.6GW에서 2027년 51.2GW까지 증가시키는 데에, 발전량 또한 2018년 161.9TWh에서 2027년 218.9TWh까지 확대하는 데 기여할 것으로 보인다. 

KDB 미래전략연구소 미래전략개발부의 강명구 연구원은 말레이시아의 전력 부족 상황을 기회로 삼고자 하는 한국 기업을 향해 “말레이시아 전력 시장 진출 시 국영전력공사(TNB)와 독립발전사(IPP)들과의 협력을 모색해야 한다”라고 제언했다. 

말레이시아에서 외국 기업이 단독으로 발전 사업을 수주하기는 어려운 환경인 만큼, 말레이시아의 TNB 또는 현지 IPP와 컨소시엄을 구축하거나 현지기업이 수주한 사업을 재수주하는 전략이 필요하다는 것이다. 

강 연구원은 “특히 말레이시아의 송전 사업은 정부에 의해 TNB에 독점권이 부여돼 있기에, TNB와의 협력 강화를 통해 스마트 그리드를 포함한 해저 송전선 건설 분야로 진출을 고려한다면 더욱 전략적인 말레이시아로의 전력시장 진출을 가능케 할 것”이라고 덧붙였다.

We would like to introduce our project of applying stone finish coat at Damansara (Industrial Complex).

PDS Consulting Sdn Bhd collaborated with contractor called as Tahap Wira Sdn Bhd. This company specialize in design and construct solution provider. They located at Puchong and can be reach at 03 – 8051 9830.

The Industrial Complex is an old and neglected industrial area.

We apply Stone finish coat as below:

  • Product Name: Yirrh Stone
  • Product Code: YRS-507
  • 1 Pail: 25 kg/18 Litre
  • Apply Scale: 6 – 8 Square Meter (Coverage depends on labor skills)
  • Apply Method: Spray Type

We estimated 9 drums for 50 square meter which will covered the whole wall of the front building. But It turns out that the coverage of the wall was about 5 drums only. So 1 drum covered 10 square meter in this case. It is depends on labor skill and wall status.

It could make the high value and feeling of building. Stone texture is giving the impression of high quality material and expensive.

PDS will try to make high value for old building to become antique and vintage in Malaysia.
